Until Debt Do We Part By Elton Camp Finances bring trouble in married life Often introduces all manner of strife If to marriage, different debt level is brought Who’s responsible should be given thought Different spousal values about spending Brings conflict that can be never ending If one believes in regular monthly saving But the other spends it all and isn’t caving Couples keeping secrets about how they spend Causes friction & brings the marriage to an end At times when income proves to be unstable Harmony between mates can easily disable Good communication money problems can reduce For failure to discuss it openly, there’s no excuse Money seldom directly causes divorce, of course But it can be a very powerful contributing force
