Under the trees A brook so slowly is splashing Under the trees The butterflies dance with the bees There echoes a distant crashing The bucks of the forest clashing Under the trees ~The form is Rondelet~

cont.. and great long history.Language is maltese and our second is english followed by italian.Those are the basic..others do speak more languages.It is a very safe island and we dont have mountains.I miss those:). Now to.your pioem-You write so beautifully about nature as if you live in a garden.I love it and your dancing butterflies

To answer your question..I live in the smallest country in the world.The island is made of goblins and elves:)just kidden.My european island is exactly beneath Italy and Sicily.Major religion is roman catholic.Colour is white anf some are blessed with olive tanned colour.Since we jpined Eu we are having people of other colour and race too.Malta is the island of manificent sea and sun.Very mild winters mesns we hardly see snow..a pity.we dont have forests or lakes but we do have great beaches

rondelets are sweet forms. It's nice to meet someone here who loves different forms the way I do. They are so fun to try and to master as well. Yes, I agree with you. I feel my limerick was stronger too. But the contest would not allow me to enter it as limerick form. (sigh)

Ahhh yes!! you certainly did do it! I have only seen bucks fight in a movie, hard to believe such timid creatures can battle so feircely BUT they are male aye, and want the gal! Great job with a new form. Light & Love
