Trees and Bees-Constanza
I pass beneath these lovely trees
That shades me from heat’s noonday sun.
They share fresh breath with everyone.
Through quiet mouths I hear their pleas,
“Please help the earth so we can live
And in return clean air we’ll give.”
It’s up to us to plant more trees!
To our children we must relate,
They hold in their sweet hands our fate.
Our chain of life depends on these;
Heavy laden with healthy fruit
Sustained by clean soil at its root.
Survival of the honey bees,
For them to live and pollinate
Gives dire thoughts to contemplate.
As Earth’s heat rises by degrees
Our whole world’s countries must unite
To help end global warming’s plight.
We must insure we will not freeze.
With opened eyes to teach our youth
The urgent fight beyond this truth.
I pass beneath these lovely trees
Through quiet mouths I hear their pleas,
It’s up to us to plant more trees!
Our chain of life depends on these;
Survival of the honey bees,
As Earth’s heat rises by degrees
We must insure we will not freeze.
Note: This was written simply so children could comprehend.
