Travels

Travels Thoughts roll through one’s mind Like rain pounding on a tin roof When drifting into a power nap Dreams travel on heartbeats Unencumbered pulses of freedom Where every sense is wide open Hearing magnified so high one Can hear the cries of the world Relaxed to the point of rising From the flesh engulfed by visuals Feeling the breeze upon ones skin Waking with jasmine scented hair Letting go of your imagination Dancing in puddles of rain Never getting wet standing In the sun getting soaked Walking upside down on a cloud Looking toward the earth’s beauty Riding on a whisper to parts unknown All the travels took place in a mere Fifteen Minutes By letting go Carole Cookie Arnold
