Total Recall
Total Recall
Having known you, such sweet intoxication!
Dreams of you, still linger on, in my imagination.
Exotic smell of you, in saturation,
permeate every cell, every atom of my creation.
This leaves me in a constant state of starvation,
wondering, what could be my salvation?
The mind goes
where the heart knows,
every feeling it shows,
to the four winds, the mind blows.
Upon the written page,
life is but a stage.
Never to be acted out in rage
or to die a slow death, locked in a cage.
Free, must each beautiful moment fly,
far beyond the pain, seen from the hearts eye.
Each journey must live on, should never die,
even after we have taken that trip to the by-and-by.
There, in time’s passing, we may find peace.
There we may be able to release
those beautiful moments to the ether,
leaving no regrets for either.
