Her Chilled Splendor

her chilled beauty...

   splashed in whitened paint

          through Christmas' buds

             my eyes turn into soot

and bury Mom's splendor

A very moving and heartfelt Christmas poem, Nette. Sometimes, the holiday season brings more tears than smiles. Especially, when our loved ones cannot be with us. Beautiful work! I wish you the best of luck in the contest!...Thank you so much for the wonderful congrats on my poem!
