To the Grave

You've only been gone a few hours True love is a planet of power Time seems to stand still Normal obstacles transform into a gigantic hill I want to tell you about my day We're past that part It's way too late Your laugh and touch are now memories I miss your weird and interesting stories When you kiss my hand and mind The rare good acts for those show your kind Perseverance and passion are fruits I favor Those times I thought about telling you later How much I loved you was a mistake Having not said “I love you” now A burden I'll take to the grave

It is sad in a sense when we say a poem like this is wonderful. I mean the story of regret, a lost hope, a sad conclusion of mutual experience, words not said, I think you get the point. The poem IS absolutely wonderful for the many emotions it stirs. Great job.
