Time To Pass

Time to pass, Your dumb a**, Stuck up in that cell, A twisted human hell, Crack cocaine? My blood you’re insane, Eighteen years old, A young mind still to mold, Bile on my breath, Waiting for what’s left, You need to pass this test, And rest- Knowing you did; Your own personal best, To revive your future years, And quell your family’s tears, But nothing cracks your thick skull, Memories like a wave’s lull, Face me when it comes to you, You are my blood through and through, But I don’t know if I can sit here, And feel vibrations of each tear, Frisk my cheek, My heart is weak, With you behind- Vertical lines- An impossible journey for hope, Greeting the end of my rope, Stuck deep in a hole, Like a garden mole, But you don’t see light, You must fight, For your own sanity, Despite the calamity, Of the situation you’re in, No matter how grim- Your days feel, Knowing what’s real, Will keep your soul alive, It’s a bit of a dive, To the bottom; But you’re on your way, Behind steel you’ll stay, If it gets to that point- I can’t comprehend or understand, What made your mind tick, a clocks hand, Drove you in deeper, Listen to your keeper, Do what you need to- Just so you- Can survive, Inside, Stay alive, My blood, keep your head high, Though others try, To bash goals, It takes tolls, To not see the grass, Time to pass- In that cell, I feel your hell, And examine why- You won’t just try.
