Thunder Storms

Boom crack flash Turns trees to ash Animals running in a dash Causes cars to crash Boom boom boom Lights up the room A golfer’s doom It’ll be over soon Bang bang bang Loud as a train There’s a loud clang Sharp as a viper’s fang Roar roar roar Sounds like a boar The earth’s inner core Cracks the back door

Wow, Steve. This has the powerful imagery and impact of a Carl Sandburg write -- and he's one of my favorites. Just last week a teen died when lightning caused a tree to crash upon her car. During the same storm a nearby home burned to the ground. Florida is the "lightning capital" of the world and you can certainly light up the sky with this write! Love, Carolyn
