Three Different Lives

Empty clouds hung over head.
Filled up with all that's left for dead.
The door bell rang to go outside.
Reminding me, the things not tried.

The picture came in shades of new.
Filled my heart with all that's true.
A future with such hopes and dreams.
Beautiful, yet not all it seems.

You, me and ours, among the stars.
A marriage on earth of Venus and Mars.
Yet, someone's calling from beyond.
To change the galaxy with their wand.

Time changed in this cosmic dream.
Mars got lost on a moon beam.
And Venus hides behind the sun.
Awaits tomorrow, when they'll be one.

You sure can weave a sweet dream; you've got that night sky glowing with the goddess of beauty and the god of war creating a wonder of sweet magic. How I love that last verse, clever and oh so enigmatic! Love, Lizzy

Time to post something new !!! Here is the comment he posted that I wanted you to post as a poem..as is or added too. “So many times we lose the fight to capture thoughts that we don't write. Dawning dreams of magic dust We breathe it in, it turns to rust. An avalanche of slumber snow. Covers up what we no longer know.”…. by: Robert Johnson in a comment

Andrea...he posts those comment with rhyme and sometimes he needs to just post them on his page as a poem !!! But indeed I did take a comment of his, change it very little and added to it... He is a talented poet and wish he'd post more often..though he is limited by his time on computer.
