THOUGHTS OF SPRING
my despondency
boredom urges thoughts of spring
blue jay on the wing
same old dreary sky
cold, stoic eyes view the scene
mind caught half-between
better than nothing
this thought of tulip’s rainbow
when one’s feeling low
