This Is Who I Am

A broken vessel I used to be drifting on an empty sea taking part in a reckless life; darkness that cut just like a knife. Always though I was a fighter; a soulful life in poetry writer. When people failed me I turned to my pen; wrote my heart on my sleeve again. Along the way I learned to sing; fashion crafts from lace and string play guitar, bake bread and cook. A little confidence is all it took. Friends and family I hold dear whether they be far or near. Laughter is my closest friend and love will shadow me till the end. written by Deb Wilson 4/18/2013
