They Take To Flight

A meeting by chance Two strangers With only one thing in common Our words We write for fun Give wings to our emotions They take to flight Birth out of nothing In the end it makes perfect sense Sometimes not to us, But to those who are touched by them Sometimes our words Say it best when we can't... *To a stranger, who has become a friend Michael J. Falotico*

100% right, Wilma. Great thoughts for us to remember as we write not only for our own vent but to touch others with our words. Sometimes, I know, it is difficult to understand that we do this, but somewhere inside we have the need to do so. Great contemplative write! Dan C

Co-writing is both fun and challenging when you haven't met the other poet, Wilma. Your recent co-write was an excellent example of how well a collaboration can turn out when two people are on the same wave length. I've co-written with a few other Soupers and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great poem that hits a home run for me! Love, Carolyn
