The Wind
Wind, under the influence of parallel time
heeds my thoughts with more than
mere convenience
Assuming ripple-effect, machinations
in my mind travel centuries, backwards
and forward, mapping evolution, my
evolution, avoiding inevitable extinction
Sometimes gently, other times galloping
in flames, wind renews tides and
tumbles with the sun
Carries the sweet call of the Loon to my
thirsty soul and howls in madness
when I'm afraid
Beneath the day I have not seen
the wind knows why
I came this way
