The Weather

The thunder crashes against the night wind
The rain pours into the night sky
The wind get stranger by the minute
I look inside myself and it's my emotions
My rage is the thunder that crashes against the wind
My tears is the rain that pours down my cheeks
The wind is all the negitiavity around me that is making me sway
All I can think of is when will the sun shine again?

April, I'm impressed with the skillful way in which you link the weather to your emotions. It's an excellent, creative approach--one I wish I had thought of. Nice, attractive work! Thanks for sharing it.

A writer of all, a master of none but...I know when I read a poem if I have enjoyed it. Now I have read yours and I have indeed enjoyed it April. I wish you a wonderful weekend and hope you find much inspiration to continue with your writing endeavors. Love, Carol
