The Warmth of a Tender Hug
The warmth of a tender hug
comes when joy or pain is present,
and tears always fall to mark that moment...
some have even gone to the extent of writing a song!
Hugs given or received
are never erased from anyone's mind...
they're as indelible as pictures, or even paintings
that a devoted artist passionately painted to create a masterpiece!
Who hasn't received an unexpected hug and felt fine?
Wasn't it full of warmth and tenderness? I'm fortunate enough
to have received many and I can easily count them on my ten fingers!
Hugs of sympathy console persons mourning...they make them cope with death!
Hugs make one much stronger when endurance is weakened by little confidence!
Hugs given with a selfless heart show that they aren't compelled, but very genuine!
Why wouldn't the warmth
of a tender hug deeply penetrate
the bloodstream to let sadness leave
and be replaced by hope? Hugs are wonderful and we need them
to help us through our day! Give hugs on every occasion: let them feel that
they are loved in February, May and June! Be that someone who never stops to give!
