The Wall

When I first met you, you were full of pain, so you built up a wall, and you hid inside, but your life was dark, and you lived in vain. When you discovered I loved you, and you found out how deep, that wall began to crumble, and now it's just a heap. With no wall between us, life has been swell, no longer are you living in an infernal hell. Every day I want to sing, and thank the Lord for all He brings, my love remains ever true, and each passing day I still love you.
