The Tower of Light
Along came twilight
The air grew still
Soft shadows
Soft light
The moon rose above the hill
We pulled in our deep spun coverings
Watched a moon
Rise silently and bright
Towards the hill
A light could be seen
Glowing in the distant green
A meaningful look
Of futures’ past
In the world of the Faerie Queen
The night
Young and still
The moon, bright
Beckoning
To the tower of light
I held her hand
Together, across the moon
We flew
Faerie magic
Faerie dust
Across the night
To the tower of light
