The Time To Move On
Most things happen in life
Usually for a specific reason,
Destiny cannot possibly be defied
When nature has been
Clearly set by divine composition!
At the beginning,
Happiness was our aim
And for a short time,
Everything went well
But little by little,
Our affection turned into pain
Causing our union to become
Nothing but a pure Hell!
Our great and passionate love
Fully explored in many nights
Of pure ecstasy,
Slowly became
Like a broken wing from a dove
That sadly in captivity…
Disappeared was the sensation
Of welcoming me every night
When I came back home,
Tired but still full of affection
Without any desire to fight…
Now, that our love
Has completely changed,
I realize that our relationship
Was not meant to last forever!
My sudden departure
Should not be a surprise
When it is the time
To move on for the better!
