The Talisman Ride

The Talisman Ride The Talisman rides by my side My life is over there’s nowhere I can hide The lone crow does a fly by as we ride A dead manatee has washed on beachside Only moments until I’m not alive His sharp knife is pressed with the blunt part in my hide How did I get here, what rules did I not abide I want live to continue, I cannot lie What did I do wrong what was my crime All I did was to enjoy my life Why was his madness generated when I smiled Now it’s time for my live to subside With my blood draining I’m barely alive
