The Stranger In The Mirror

From where did you come
wrinkled with hair turning gray?
Please, just go away !

~~~~~~~~~  inspired by Daver Austin's poem
                               "Golden Years"
    Just dim the lightbulb and step back another inch from the mirror with each passing year, Sue. That's what an elderly lady told me when I was still a teen. It works and we stay young in our hearts forever! Love, Carolyn
    Not much one can do about those wrinkles but appreciate them. As far as the grays, I wisk them away with a little die. Like the humor in this one. Nice tribute to Daver. I see he enjoyed it too. Keep that pen flowing. Thank you for your kind comment. Karen
    The title reminds me a Sydney Sheldon's Book I've read in my adolescence... But your senryu...however...reminds me my "every morning"!! : ) Saddddddddddd Senryu! : ) Have a great day, Sue! Ruben.
