The Scent of You
The Scent Of You
Many times I saw your face
And my memory can’t erase
The passion that lives on forever
All the times we came together
The passing time cannot sever
Even death cannot displace
This loving languid space
I often think of you this way,
When the sun begins to splay
The slow recall to a soft embrace
The memory of your tender face
The passing time cannot sever
The loving nights we shared together
Atop the grass, the scent of heather
