The Pride of Nerds

Come with me And you’ll see The pride of a nerd Who has strayed from the herd Of people in this school Who think they’re so cool. You may ask how, but I swear it is avow. You say this cannot be But listen to me, I’m proud to be a nerd. You’ll fly like a bird When you admit this. It’s utter bliss To fly so high. Admit you’re a grind And leave behind Who you used to be. Follow me To infinity and beyond And the cool kids will respond By leaving you alone And allowing you to hone The skills you learn in school. He who laughs first is a fool, So turn and laugh back my nerdy friends Because that is how my story ends.

I picked up the Toy Story reference, i think that makes me a nerd by definition. I'm reading this book called "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" and he's a supernerd actually, loves the Lord of the Rings, Role Playing Games, comic books, the whole bunch. Also Maddox is a nerd who agrees with you that the one's who study more in school end up more successful than the 'jock' types.
