The Lolly Junkie's Lament

Hormones jumping; blood a-pumping lips on the round, a lolly to hound a pulsing throb; I crave a knob with squishy cream, a junkie's dream A full-lipped lick should do the trick to ease my affliction, the lolly addiction I stamp my feet, grind my teeth beat my chest, both east and west The countdown begins; I'm sure to win a warrior cry; my fix is nigh drooling to suck I curse Lady Luck your lolly I picked but it's bone-dry licked DELYSIA JUST THAT ARCHAIC POET'S CONTEST

wow delysia.. this is one stomping good poem luv.. thinking lollipop at first .. yummy ... far as my inspiration.. the contest names and themes get my creative juices flowing instantly and out come words.. I don't even blink just grab the copy book and pen quick luv.. has been that way from age 5 luv..

We're on a fun kick here aren't we? You read mine and commented before I thought I had it posted. Actually I had pulled it back and was fixing the punctuation and I got a notice that it had a comment. I have always wondered if it stays there while we are pulling it back to work on it? Love, Joyce
