The Lift of Her Curse

. Such a rash stimulus before mine eyes which has caused the naïve reach from the likes of i Though each day (it seems) buffoon winks back at me through the reflective pane a jocund feeling over comes me almost becoming ecstatic It has many of times caused the jingle yes as in rhyme and verse yes many passionate words from the lift of her curse

Although I'm not ecstatic when looking in the mirror, I am glad for what I still have and you remind me that's how we need to accept ourselves.

Ah yes - a study in comparisons, or do I misread? I, myself, am capable of passionate words. Alas, at my age, words is about it. The "reflective pane" has spoken. Love, daver

Dear James, having just passed another birthday, I can relate to the "curse" in the mirror. LOL Your poem about the toll of years on our bodies made me giggle. There are many types of "passion" and I love the way you wove your message in this verse. I have been away the past week. Back home now and hope to catch up on more reading. Love you, Carolyn
