The Journey
In such a long journey i've been
and most of my dreams I haven't realized nor seen.
there are days that crazily towards me randomly rush,
till little by little on my life they just crush.
And here and there I am gettin' struck,
and like a drownin man, here,I am feeling just stuck,
days and nights in my heart I'm getting bruised;
and from thoughts and mind only woes and pain oozes.
Darkness closes in on me, and there stand accused,
as pain and regrets, all churn and turn against me.
Days and nights, bare, more than I can really bear,
and more troubles and stress than in reality dare.
as each day challenges me to more dealt cards,
trying to protect my spirit in spite of all tears and scars.
Knowing that there isn't much I can always accomplish or do,
Believing, and for my own good, that there's only One,
Who really loves and cares for me, no matter what this way.
And that theres no devil nor evil that can keep me really away,
And that's from Jesus, God's son.
The only One, who in the end cares enough to truly save me,
And the only One, who brings hope into my heart, every single day!
