The Impact

Arising from my humble 
     home 
  on the Lower East Side
I send out my messages 
      Intending to trouble the "wise and the great"
  with my words 
Icy winds will soon 
     be blowing here 
  but the words keep coming 
They - As I said - are reaching the brains 
    of the "wise and the great" 
    What impact they will have 
   is known to 
none
   Once you are out there 
you are "EXPOSED"

Once they are out there, one can't bring those words back for sure..Someone would remember what was said in print or orally spoken..Enjoyed reading your work..It is a great topic and good presentation..Thanks for stopping by my work..We are on the outer edges of the storm but I don't know if Sandy is causing the wind here or if it is because of the jet stream being located where it is or if it is a combination..Sara
