The Face of An Angel Divided By Two

She loved me then left me; crying the blues. And she spent all my money; As if they were dues. Multi orgasmic; she put my life in a spin; Void of precaution; I lost in the end. I took to the highway; cause someone might die; I went to the northwest; On a mountain to hide. Not a week had gone by; before the coin had been tossed; It was the flip side of danger; And again I was lost. Her colors were different; but the name was the same; Some said we were crazy But it was more like insane. Always the hunter; never the game How did I end up a victim; And is fool now my name? The face of an angel; divided by two They're searching for someone; Be sure it's not you

Great flow, Leonard! Puts me into thought mode...that angel sounds kinda scary! Cool format, short verses then near the end, six lines. Gives this poem more impact. I enjoy your verses..thanks for sharing! Best to you, Mikki

Beautiful expression...Her colors were different but the name was the same...the hypocrasy nicely personified, Leonard
