The Easter Mouse
Kiddies take heed
Of this kind hearted deed
By this cute little mouse
That lives in our house
He wears fake ears
That make him appear
Like the Easter Bunny
So cute and so funny
Don't want you to think
Because he's not pink
He can't play the role
This kind hearted soul
He just loves to spread
Good cheer instead
Of eating our cheese
And nuts if you please
Well what do you think
He goes by instinct
But we sure don't mind
'Cause our mousey's so kind
Spreading good will
Giving kiddies a thrill
On Easter morning
Without any warning
Hiding those treasures
Watching with pleasure
The joy it will cause
He don't need applause
Then retreats to his home
That's the end of my poem
Sure hope that you liked it
Much as I did to write it!
