The Cross Over

My Dog Today is the day! I give my dog away! I wonder if he's sick or if he's too lazy to play and do tricks. I called the vet, “$80 I cannot pay.” My dog, my favorite pet, He does not want to chase the cat. I understand that he does not like to get wet. But, how come today, he doesn't want to play fetch. I tell him to roll over. That he doesn't even want to do :- ( When I call my dog Rover, He gives me the puppy face too. Maybe he's over fed. All he does is lay there in bed. He’s not even wagging his tail! My dog, my favorite pet, He didn’t walk with me to get the mail. Should I call the Dog Catcher? And ask why my dog is playing dead? by;pd & son

This is a really nice poem about your dog. We can get real attatched to our pets. I had four puppies in my life. The two were killed. The third one died. i took him to the vet, the next day he was dead. The fourth I gave to the SPCA. Now I don't want no more. If God wants him to live, he will. Lucy

Watching and waiting for God to arrive. You wonder sometimes if your even alive. The paper get's thrown and you don't touch your bone. Your master just looks at you there all alone. I'm worth 80 bucks, but if you aint' got it. Shucks.

Awwww..a mom son collab! Now this makes my whole day!! There had to be lots of giggling as you 2 wrote this one...I can just see it now! Enjoyed the unsmiley face, all the questions thru out to pull the audience in, and the light rhyming...This is great, PD!! Been under the weather past several days. Only on here for short lil blips..I wondered how your Memorial Day weekend went. Hope your whole family was together! Love, Gwendolen

i will be the hardest thing in the world to do but you know that i know how hard it is. letting go.i can tell you what the doctor will say. you don't want to know. but in the end the question is are you willing to let him go so that his suffering will be over.
