The storm clouds roared and waves below grew violent. Death had flown to town with a powerful vengance. People gathered to pray on the grounds of the church by the sea....
The cliff has erroded and the church sits precariously above. Years and storms have
taken its toll on the cliff revealing stark danger. Fears of mudslides
and collapsing stones by the forces of nature...Made the
town folk relocate five miles inland to sound footing
Leaving the cliff church abandoned and perched
awaiting its certain destruction. Three
generations have come and gone yet
alone on its perch it waits... ` ;`

And lonely it stands, buffeted by the winds of change thaat never cease. The eternal witness of Him who waits. Such a beautiful write Doris, the church and what it stands for well depicted in this verse. PS Your dear comments so appreciated. Warm feelings from you! Love, Elizabeth

The world was still crumbling as they joined in song. The Devil was laughing, their faith can't last long. But sing, they did do, they filled up the air. They raised the roof in that church as if they did'nt care. And God said to Satan, my people have broken your spell. My church will keep standing and you can go straight to hell. HI Doris, Thank You for sending me my comments. Sadly, you and everyone else misunderstood the gist of what I was after. I'm removing the post. Have a great day, week, month, year, life.
