The Cave

The lights are fading, fading, fading And I cannot see anymore And In the dark I'm wading, wading Through the murky, muddy floor The walls are dripping, dripping, dripping From the leak of the water above Still time is ticking, ticking, ticking Inside this blackened, sweaty glove My breath is slowing, slowing, slowing But still I keep walking on My uneasiness is growing, growing For light is all but gone

My favorite line is, "Inside this blackened, sweaty glove". This poem echoes.
