The Bible
There is a Book in existence,
That has endured through much resistance.
On every page ‘tis discovered,
Valuable truths can be uncovered.
Though many today would say,
It’s “outdated” and “gets in the way.”
The reason that they won’t there abide,
Is that in sin they choose to reside.
Though tried for years to be made extinct,
Its message is still quite distinct.
Even though many say it’s irrelevant,
The fact is it’s still very prevalent.
Many will choose to not believe,
Its message to simply receive.
However, this which they have rejected,
Will be that by which they are inspected.
When it’s all said and done,
And the course of life has been run,
When we here no longer reside,
God’s Word will yet abide.
So learn this lesson so simple,
And don’t be willing to gamble.
Believe it today, no longer delay,
For His Truth forever will stay.
