The Show

The Show

They were dressed in black tuxedos

Their bow ties were royal blue

Upon command, they danced on their hind legs

There were treats nearby, and water bowls too

They jumped through hoops as the crowd cheered on

There were six of them present, they were never alone

When the show was over, they were taught to bow

They were strong and they were tough

They were miniature chows

What more could I ask for today? It is a beautiful day the sun shining and birds singing. I am reading your poetry in which you share a little of yourself maybe without even realizing it you have written from your soul. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry with us Adrienne. Love, Carol
