The 4th Street Children
I need you to know...
I've never been for neon signs or fad an hour
You must see...
While your mirror is God
My mirrors are traps and shameful reminders
Mindless words,meaningless words,meaningless thoughts...were never me
I don't want to be self righteous...just wanna be me...i guess
Your love for bright Time Square lights contrasts my desired lonely,dark-alley travels
You still will not have the slightest clue of what I speak though you should know the best
Your whispering lips...secretive laughs...shallow hearts...pointless existences...callow minds
Are blurred images along the highway
We couldn't really be friends, could we?
You are all positively my 4th Street
