Thanks Kids

There comes a time in our life
when we want to be set free
When our job is now all done
From Responsibility

To you who have leaned on us
from the time that you were born
Although our age is showing
Our hearts are a little worn

Please do know that it's okay
It's fine if you don't stop by
We'd like to be alone now
Love from your mother and I

Thanks Kids

You have a wonderful philosophical bent. I will try to read more of your work as time permits. I know I can not write anything too long. My brain just won't allow it.

We are also empty nesters and I have to admit I am enjoying this time in our life. Do still enjoy when our son comes home for his visits.
