Tender lips

Come put your arms around me, so I can look in to your eyes.
I need to know if you are the soul that my soul is longing for.

I need to know if my heart will flutter like a butterfly that is flying through a meadow
in the early spring time.

I need to know if your heart will flutter like that butterfly when you lay your lips so
softly against mine. I really need to know if you could be mine so waist no more time
and come lay your lips against my silky tender lips.

What more could I ask for today? It is a beautiful day the sun shining and birds singing. I am reading your poetry in which you share a little of yourself maybe without even realizing it you have written from your soul. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry with us Cheri. Love, Carol
