Tears Goodbye
The clouds are moving a crossed the sky,
While I keep on wishing,
I could tell these tears goodbye,
Cause I’m up late tonight again,
Stressing over everything that is not going right,
Oh and somehow the thought’s crossed my mind,
Like a thousand times that this may be one of those,
Life tests so I’m doing my best,
To control these emotions of anger I feel,
Oh, and I pray Lord won’t you wash these tears away,
And bring justice on this situation,
And Lord please heal our nation,
Oh cause Lord I am up early this morning once again,
And I hear a voice within my heart calling for a friend,
So I reach out my hand,
And as I do I am pulled to my feet to stand,
Again and again, Again and again,
And I thank you Lord Jesus because with you,
I am not just a new creation,
Because I am more to you than I could imagine,
Oh and as I am looking outside I see those clouds are rolling by,
As I tell my tears goodbye,
A voice from within my heart says every storm runs out of rain,
And one day child, there will be no more sadness, and no more pain,
only joy to see again and again.
