Taker
eyes tight shut &
deep within, experiencing
the personal rush which
relies on the action of
the moment but only
in as much as the used is
being used well,
for coming to the
moment was all part of
the game to steal
just exactly what it is that
they wanted, as it’s not even
a question of need (for need
is something else entirely) but
rather the quenching of a
selfish place inside that may
in fact be so very dark that
no one (even said taker) can
imagine during their worst
nightmare, during their most
horrible violence to others,
with wretched digging nails,
with gritting gore teeth,
with staring egotistical eyes
salivating with frothing rabid
abusing lips of vengeance
to take it all out on this
unfortunate & naïve
innocent, who thought that
they knew what they were getting
into,
when they fell for the
taker---getting theirs & leaving
the other, getting theirs &
laughing after, getting theirs with
no concern for the innocent
raped & stolen
in their mind,
if not their body too---
walking away
every time,
like they just achieved the
perfect crime.
