Super Bowl

Scrimmage upended linemen
Super bowl Sunday
The crowd roared, foot ball sailed high.

Receiver zig-zagged down field,
Ball spun overhead,
Runner snatched in air— touch down!

Hi James, forgot to wish you success in this contest. The Oklahoma Sooners is a college team so they never play the pro team - Green Bay Packers, winners of the 2011 Super Bowl. Thanks for stopping by with you comments. Love, Carolyn

Are you a football fan too, James? The action you describe so well in your verse really gets the crowd into the game. Go Green Bay Packers! Really enjoyed this one. Love, Carolyn
