Sunset Lake

Sparse eerie green clouds camouflage A harvest-time full moon Creating quiet illusion Crescent moon open strewn Dragger shaped twinkling diamond stars Slide across silver back Lending a quiet essence there 'Pon silhouetted pitch black Alluring moon drew sleepy eyes Come circle sunset lake Grip a lovers strong hand caress Kiss love, there's no mistake Moon reflected 'pon sunset lake Created atmosphere An euphoric lover's haven Thinking very unclear The moon in its silvery essence Spoke of amorous mood Bequiling scene set, engaged thoughts Forgot you're shrewd and crude It's the harvest moon's total fault Engrossing was its hold No matter how handsome was he My lips shouldn't have been bold
