Suicide's no way out

When life
seems all
still don't
you loose
scope of
for there's
this thing
in the air
Reach out
for God's

For how
sure can
you be
death will
take you
to a
better fate
What if
you are
into a
there's no
back at
any rate!

You too
and above
that you
wish for a
rosy life
for suicide
are usually
so lame
enjoy your
even so in

plan to
this act
just to
pity and
The pity
and regret
come and
besides it
and a large
slice of
your life
may go

Why rush for thy grave,
for greater gloom
Suicide's ain't a way out
fellow human friend
Pray a godless way not
send you unto this doom
You haven't right to bring
any life to its end.

And it's probable that all
those years
that you now wish to
recklessly discard in dust
have something bright
ahead, got to be a ray of
Extinguish it not if in God
you trust!

Bravo on this piece I could'nt agree more, Lord knows how many People I've stopped from making that mistake, I too have been down that road and pulled myself away from that ledge. Nothing is worth prematurly ending your life.

Hey thanks for your comment. This is good but I wouldn't call it didactic. A different format would probably help the way your rhymes come off. It was hard to get through with the way it is set up. Other than that its great. :) peace

Zaynub, another great piece. I wrote something on the same topic not quite long ago. Good approach and mastery. Keep going my sister.

In the Jewish tradition suicide is frowned upon very strongly. Where there is life there is hope. You send a strong message in this work. Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

What a sensitive and profound approach at tackling suicidal tendencies. What I find most unsettling is how most people only think of themselves when they try to end their life... they don't think about all the family and friends (people that cared about him) that would feel so much pain, when they make such a selfish decision... suicides don't just affect the person committing it... not by far.

WOW. This really offers hope and depicts the elements of how suicide is not really a good option. I really like "this thing dangling in the air Reach out for God's sturdy rope. Great visual
