Sugar Was Not There
Tried to drink my coffee black
cuz Sugar was not there.
I miss you terribly.
I think of you always
you're so apart of me.
I miss Mom
do you?
I cried myself to sleep
when everyone forgot me
at the same time.
I tried to sweeten up my life
but Sugar was not there.
A stupid boy said he'd date me
just to dump me
but you weren't here to tell.
One time I wrote a poem
and called you Sugar and it fit
so this is about you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
