Stricken

Drive me not to love thee more
The one thing I cannot do
Devoted head to toe I dedicate my all
With daily memories of you

Speaketh please and grace my ears
Thine feelings are all that amount
On our day of love, to be kissing thee firmly
Time is too short, we shall make it count

I scoff at perfection, perchance to have thou
With a futile pinch, my skin doth not bleed
Securing a dream such as yourself
Hear me, for I am yours, that is my creed

I see, I feel, I breathe the breath of a real man
A butterfly beyond, you improved my former me
To transform a person such as myself
I promise to you through love and time you'll see
