Still Bleeding

the white rose marks the pureness of remembrance--- still recalling true loves loss the rose thorns scrape the edge of the vase--- wearing the pricks on my heart

Life is full of such painful memories, but the way you describe it makes it much more bearable.

Somehow the pain is pure delight. When it's all that's left of love in sight. Reminding us that we were loved. :)

Oh yes, the pain from the thorns prick, I have always hated getting poked by the thorns edge...the painful bleeding that ensues from the prick hurts as the loss of a love! The memories that are there remain, but the relationship is lost! But looking back I see that the relationship wasn't exactly where I wanted it to be...and it led to my current love, the one that I will always be with! Your poem brings me these feelings my friend! I really enjoyed reading this stupendous poem, Great Work!!
