Michele with one L and her voice

Tells me in soprano that she no longer loves

The L that always pains my heart

And with care I watch the note fade

Alone again watching my P's and Q's

It's the L that I long for as the water falls

Still hear your song as I lie at night

The heart beats strong but without your L

The word has no meaning

Stil isn't a word without your L

My heart is stil without you

For my friend Michele who spells her name with one L after I spelled it with two L's

I love it Patrick. Reminds me of an old boyfriend and me. We'd leave secret notes on each other's cars during lunch hour (different schools different lunch hours). Instead of words we'd use numbers for each letter. 1-4-3. (I love you). Michele must love this poem. love, Kathy

Intimate and bittersweet....what a romantic is mourning the lost letters!
