State of Undress

.

Our naked feet feel the grass
and our naked legs feel the
                  flowers
       and the pretty weeds

Our naked hands feel the pears
            and the apples
               the grapes
              and the rain

       Our naked faces kiss
   and our naked bodies love
               each other
 until the naked moon meets
   the flaming constellations

Smile, *^_^* I find a profound loveliness amid this wonderfully soft and tenderly brushed canvas my dear friend. = And as precious Carolyn touched upon below, I also find images of some place similar unto the garden of eden to found within the colours of this sweetened painting. == Although, the ending holds something perhaps somber in gray somehow? Either or, "Very Beautiful Verse My Friend." === love, jasper

Clothing was invented by man. Remember Adam felt no shame until after the original sin. Since then we have been trying to cover up all our flaws. This is a beautiful poem. I especially love the thought of the naked moon meeting the "flaming constellations." I sent the email to the wrong address, but saw your Soup mail and will try to send it to the correct address now. Love you, Carolyn
