Standing Single and Strong For My Son
Biting my tounge to draw blood,
All because it turned out you're a dud.
I ponder where I went wrong,
Then realize it was you all along.
I have priorities and you're lost inside,
So who really is going to lose their pride?
I know where I am and where I am meant to be;
Dont you see,
I wont let this effect me.
Love ruins poetry,
It confuses the truth and makes you feel soothed.
Well look out because I am back and strong enough this time to attack.
