Spring Is In the Air
Soft breezes blow and hints of spring
Are floating in the air.
Emotions fill a lover’s heart.
He seeks his lady fair.
Romantic thoughts have taunted her
Since first fragrance of spring.
She gazes on new lives around
As fond longings they bring.
She sees him coming up the lane,
And runs into his arms.
He gazes on her loveliness,
Entranced by her sweet charms.
Oblivious is this smitten pair
To the fact that spring is in the air.
That spring is in the air.
