Sons and Sybils

In ancient Delphi when the world was new and Apollo’s sun filled the morning air soul wisdom was sought from a sybil’s pew in the tomb, the cave, the dead python’s lair. Fair maids became the oracles and stayed decades of service they sacrificed there. Upon an altar of mystery laid vestal virgins possessed, all fallen brides oh, breath deep fair maidens, give us your aid. From deep within, without sin or pride the gift of knowledge without thought of gain as you commune let loose the sacred tide 'til the ends of time protect this domain for the son, our God, will be renamed.

Hey you did Delphi, too. But I like better the form you chose for yours! terza rima works so well for this.
